I don’t understand why he went to bed early

Staying together with Rover is best!!

It’s a nice feeling to have your dog sleep next to you like that.

What greater feeling?

Wonder where they live. I haven’t seen a stairway landing depicted in a comic for years. And yet there was a time when to have a stairway without one was almost unheard of.

Does Red have any human friends?

How about the Doublemint twins? Haven’t seen them in a long time.

It’s nice to read such caring things once in awhile.

Awww, it’s lovely to cuddle and sleep with your pet. Macushla my cat (pictured) is so cuddly and sweet just like Rover.

I’ve done that – as an adult.

When I was a kid pets weren’t allowed.

We didn’t have a dog, but we had a cat (we got her when I was four)and this was me at Red’s age with my cat. The cat started out sleeping in the basement. When I got a little older I started sneaking her upstairs to sleep with me. :)
