I will never trust autonomous cars. No matter how sophisticated they are, they can’t account for every single unexpected thing that happens on the road.
I especially don’t like the idea of cars out there with no steering wheel so the driver has no way to control the car at all.
Self Driving vehicles seem too scary at the moment. However, I suspect like most things, they will eventually permeate into everyday life. I do know, however, that for the first hundred or so times I ever see a driverless car on the road, I will end up being “freaked out”. It seems to defy the laws of nature. But, people likely said that about cars compared to the horse and buggy.
tempting to act as some did when the horseless carriage came along, but it is hard for me to trust a driverless car. wonder what the impact will be on car models since there will be no driver to get his self esteem from what he is driving.

The only time that I see a car that drives itself is when I watch one of my Knight Rider DVDs.

So, a question, will a person who has had a few too many drinks then be ok and legal to ride in a driverless car? Interesting thought.

That’s what I’m afraid of.

If you’ve ever seen the first version of the movie “Total Recall”, imagine riding in a self driving car like “Johnny Cab”.
