Those dating services from before the internet dating sites took over were so awful from what I have been told. My uncle tried one called Interactions back in the 90’s. Since they charged so much, it likely caused there to be a small pool of available people. He said the dates were terrible. No common interests. Every date just terrible. When he complained and made a stink about it, they basically set him up on a “date” with a woman who was clearly some kind of paid “escort” who gave him a BJ and that was pretty much the whole “Interaction”.
