Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for February 05, 2009
Transcript:
Ginny: It's not that I don't sympathize with Clyde. I mean, just about everyone seems to want to work for Obama. There's been such a seismic change in the culture here. You wouldn't believe how much our social life has picked up! Joanie: Really? Ginny: Hell yeah. It's like all the whites in town suddenly woke up and said, "Damn! I need some black friends!" Joanie: Excuse me. I have to go open the curtains... Ginny: Don't worry. I'll wave to your neighbors on my way out.
