Yesterday topped off at 84 Comments – Probably a statistical anomaly skewed in part by Bea inquiring about everyone’s sleeping habits [!] – Still, it shows how invested the fan base has become.
Here’s the first title sequence for Rumiko Takahashi’s “Maison Ikkoku” – I’d forgotten how pretty and stylized it was …

Embarrassed now to admit that I’ve never actually finished watching the show: Might be available on ‘CrunchyRoll.com,’ pretty sure the Region 1 DVDs are long out of print though. :(
They remind her of her life? But she called Sam a pimp, don’t want to know what her own husband was like, although a man who picks a woman off the side of the road probably isn’t the most honorable of men. Wonder if she’s gonna return, I bet her backstory would be interesting and I bet a shotgun wedding was something she and Charlene have in common.
Several people have noted that you’ve a knack for drawing expressive hands, yesterday’s second panel being a prime example. I’d add that body language is a strength of your art as well.
Do you employ reference material at all for those types of shots?
To answer your question Sedine, some car repairs are not as extensive as the one your car needs. Please be patient, your repairs will be finished soon.
Woo~!! Finished the main play-through, though I’ve still some items that I need to go back and collect. Very faithful to the source material.
My only critiques would be that gameplay is a little on the short side, and that there’s a ceiling to how much everyone can level up.
[ Mind you, I’m never satisfied with anything below “One Punch Man” levels, so in that regard I’m what comedians refer to as “A Tough House.” ]
Apparently the creators found the smart phone platform slightly limiting as well: They’re currently working on a direct sequel for consoles which will allow for a more in-depth exploration of the environment.
In related news, the official “Steven Universe” soundtrack has hit #5 on the iTunes Album Chart …
My theory is that by fixing the old lady’s car first, she can leave first, allowing the mechanics to have more time admiring Sedine’s sexy legs while they’re working.
Something I and probably no one else though about at first read, but is the owner of the building Sam works in the granny’s husband? It seems like just the kind of easter egg Bea would leave, he got angry about being called an “old, thrill seeking, and old” maybe he had a past he perfered to forget, or maybe I’m reading too much into the strip. Whatever the answer, I would like to know if Sam’s boss will make a return, or if he has any malintent towards Sam for Sedine’s actions.

I think Bea might have touched upon some key inner truth about human nature there.

I can’t blame her, when I remember the things I didn when I was human, I want to crush my former self.

So, I guess she dropped off her car, then went elsewhere to pass the time.

All the ogling, and none of the guilt.

Are we dealing with a time warp/dimensional rift here, and Sedine is seeing herself in 60 years?

Panel #3 reminded me of the artwork of Will Elder in MAD magazine in the 1950s.
