What I am wondering is if his speech has caught up to his hands.

Well, Alex, if you’d have a look at his thought balloon, you’d know like the rest of us…

    …wait…

GEE1A says: I told ya, she’d be better for him than any VA!.. GEE!A, a faceplant on the pavement is better for someone, than any VA facility. People die in those places, Man!

JonD17, one exception (in Toggle’s case) is his mum, who is much worse than VA.

(oops, nevermind, I guess they were the ones who released him to mum in the first place….)

JonD17 – people die in ANY hospital. My mother died in a hospital, as did my wife. The VA’s problems stem from the fact that you have too many non-Vets setting policy for how Vets are treated. Many of my uncles, cousins, and older friends were “invited” by our country to fight in wars – my father included – and I volunteered. Spent 4 years in the Marines. But, when I go to the VA, I’m often dealing with someone who has not served.

But – the VA has also helped me out a lot. As a disabled Vet, they helped retrain me into the job I have now, and they advocate for me as well.

Don’t blame the VA. Blame the higher level administrators who forget who they are responsible for.

Right on DBjorn! I’ve got nothing but good to say about the VA, they’ve taken good care of me and mine.
