And here I thought that was Dennis.

If that guy from “Mad Men” could call himself that, so can this guy.

It’s over, Danny. It’s curtains.

Danny is, indirectly, one of Dennis’ best customers.

He calls himself a “draper” …

though a draper is actually a clothing fabric merchant (like Dennis, himself.)

Danny, though, doesn’t sell fabric, he buys it from Dennis, and then he drapes it.

He loves to show what the cloth can do..,

Loves to show patterns and combinations ….

To take the fabrics in your house and enhance them with his finds, and create a new look for your bedroom,

your dining room…. your family reunion picnic ….

or your vacation wardrobe.

THEN you have to go to Dennis to buy the materials….

Danny is only the merchandiser of the dream.

Danny is nuttier than a fruitcake.

However since that is a prerequisite for residing here….

By the way, Dennis has a new shipment of pink and green Ballard polka dot fabric, and if you are planning on making yourself a new spring dress(and who isn’t?) you better get yours while you can!

Danny got his.

Does that make Danny’s house the “drapery?”

I do like that Danny has selected an assortment of Dennis’s finest. Plaids, polka dots, solids with and without fringe. There’s something for everyone!

Dennis is the menace.

Danny is the draper.

Myrtle is the po’d wife of Danny who is going to kill him for dragginig her newly purchased lot of linen all over the place.

Danny is, certainly, not a Dapper Draper!

I prefer floral prints myself.

The high bit on the chairs is now at $51.

That put me out of the bidding.

BUT!

The boss is going to chip in $50 herself. That answers the conundrum of what to do with the extra chairs.

I’ll up my part to $50, bid at the last minute, and if we win i’ll split the take/cost with her.

Dapper Dan Dillingsworth dreams of drapery designs, and desperately desires to be a draper, drooping in drapes.

Dennis isn’t amused !

And here I thought Danny would turn out to be a Glover.

I can think of many other words that best describe Danny.

How many drapes could a draper drape if a draper could drape drapes? (and he can!)

It’s his coat of many colours.

I will out-drape anyone, with dots and checks and fringes! Takes a whole lot of fabric to find something that impinges! (I thought to add this to the main column, instead of replies, because I was pretty pleased with myself).
