The most soporific book on the planet is Elementary Metallurgy And Metallography. It was one of my college textbooks and I couldn’t even get through one chapter without dozing off.
used to happen to me in a class about circuits. Class was after lunch, in a room where the back wall was a panel of huge windows, and all the sun would let inside. To avoid that I would carry a bottle of a preparation of iced coffee I made the day before, and let it stay in the freezer through the night; now I wish I could sleep that easily, specially now since I have a cold and the cough keeps me awake

I’m currently reading a book that puts me to sleep in 10 minutes, max. I might even finish it before its due back to the library.
