    During his senior year, my kid had NO TEXTBOOKS, yet his backpack still weighed 27 pounds. What was he keeping in there?

    Shawn update:The pet therapy went well.Now, fingers crossed, it appears the infection is gone and they’ve been doing some experimenting to see if he needs to have the permanent shunt reinstalled or he can be without it. We’re hoping for without and they remove the temp shunt and spackle the hole in his head closed on Tuesday.Thanks for your support and prayers

    @Tony:

    Some days it seems I need a push just to get my carcass going in the morning. But now I must get going and ask today’s…

    Second “Daddy’s Home” Question:

    What’s in your backpack (if you have one)?

    I don’t think a push is going to help, he’s shorter then the backpack. He needs to grow up, literally.
