Adrift in Limbo, the boat lazily wallowed through the dark night and murky waters. It’s sole occupant a young girl. The sky and water crowded with spirits unseen, unknown to the eyes and minds of ordinary people. One, as if it had waiting for this precise moment, began to coalesce as a corporeal form aboard the vessel. It was a thing of no real substance, but had all the attributes of a flesh and blood being made of ordinary matter. It sat quietly, just waiting, on the deck as the boat headed downstream through the velvet darkness. The night would soon enough be ended. It was in no hurry.
