Garlic flowers are actually kind of pretty, sort of lacy little lilies. If you let leeks, another onion cousin, go to the second year and flower, they look just like those expensive allium bulbs, a big smooth sphere of flowers on a long stalk.

Actually, garlic is a member of the lily family. Nice flowers, it’s the bulb that’s smelly.
