    Sorry FUNG1 he was picked by the Chargers the same year the Colts got Peyton Manning. They went one, two in the draft. But both were first rounders.

    Todd Marinovich - 1991 First Round pick, 24th pick overall, ahead of some guy named Brett Favre, who went in the second round, 33rd overall, but behind Dan McGwire (Mark’s brother) who went 16th

    Except even first round NFL draft busts get a few million guaranteed, even if they wash out after one season.

    They’d have to be as lousy at financial planning as football to end up like that. More likely you’d see an NFL Hall-of-Famer on the street corner, some years after they’ve suffered one too many concussions on the field.
