Fear is something that the youngest among us only feel when their parents aren’t there as they “know” mommy and daddy can protect them from anything. I cannot remember any time my kids/grandkids showed fear when I was around before age 5.
I had a toddler who could climb before he walked. He climbed on chairs so he could climb on cabinets, He would climb bookshelves.Another one would think the way to learn to walk was to fling herself forward and it worked as long as she could keep he feet going as fast as her body.Another one was a bit safer, he would climb into things and under things. We had a pantry, and he would crawl in there and set as many canned goods outside the door as he could, as fast as he could. I learned the hard way what he could do with powdered milk and also with dog treats. This kid spent most of his childhood Wandering off. look around and he would be gone. Spent much time looking for him. I ended up getting him a what do you call it, dog tags? Like in the military. Of course there was the baby who didn’t get into things much, he was a quiet soul and still is. He did become a pilot for an airlines though.

What’s more terrifying is how fast she’s growing!

She’s just appearing to grow super fast because of the paternity leave and I think Friday is flashback day. It was explained a few months ago.

My 3-year old nephew climbed to the top of his 3 story house. Now THAT was scary!
