Let’s keep politics out of the Hedge. We get enough of it ad nauseum from the networks, Facebook, UTube, Tweet, Snap, etc.

I’m done with this comic. Keep politics out of it. I’m cutting down the hedge!

I do not appreciate political issues in the comics. There are other places for those cartoons.

Lewis & Fry deserve extra points for “adroitly twist into lighthearted tomfoolery.”

@marshall Then you’re grievously ignorant about the history of publishing. The comics page owes its very existence to politics. The lighthearted tomfoolery you adore finds its origins centuries ago in political cartoons.

It’s not what goes into a man that makes him unacceptable, it’s what comes out of him.

Things are just so bad even “Over The Hedge” can’t stay away from the obvious. The flaming elephant in the room cannot be ignored.

The reign of Trump has moved beyond the political. These are very dangerous times.

They are saying that there is nothing “light hearted” or “funny” about the Trump administration. That is true, no matter what your political leanings happen to be. Yet some people read it as a political endorsement or attack. Chill people. Chill….

Let it go Dude! The calculating, rough around the edges ’bidness man knew the rules, the people and won fair and square. Let the hand play out like a good ’merican and let it go.
