Not a smart move. Don’t make the bear mad.

And now, when Walt gets angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs…

You can kill him Walt but you should not eat him……gotta watch your weight big guy. Just a note……remember back to the Milk Trial……a very disconcerting speaker was there too. Remember how he screamed for blood….hiw this trial was to the death? I see a similar pattern.“He tasted nice……very nice”Not saying it was Marx but do remember…….there are probably many Marx. Some good……some evil.

Can’t he go to the phone exchange to find out where the call came from?

This seems to confirm the “Pork. The other white meat” theory. They are on the menu.

A pig for a new favorite character has a harder time becoming a favorite character because they just aren’t that cute. I have tried to work with her as a Holly or Kirbee substitute, but she isn’t all that interesting or appealing. She does love Walt, and that is a big plus for her I guess. I like Walt well enough, He is Walt, James Walt. or something.

The wolves we’ve seen so far are fairly direct, and short-term minded. These phone calls are more “behind the scenes” and they’re building the pressure up slowly. This may not be the work of wolves. I suspect… journalists.

Pam Miner: “A pig for a new favorite character…” That was the “hook” for me in the beginning of this arc. Pigs are about as popular as fat people, and prejudice against fat people is so ingrained that, in my experience at least, some of the people most prejudiced against fat people – are fat people themselves. And other than Vietnamese pot belly pigs, which were popular as pets for a while, for the most part, a pig is considered the literal equivalent of a fat person – and it’s always open season on fat people. // But as others have said, it is unlikely that this is where Aaron is taking this story.

My current “avatar” (or whatever you call it), the Neapolitan Doughnut is my silent protest against the treatment of fat people – and especially the weight loss industrial empire. And while I’m sure to get dumped on for my little protest (…“It’s so unhealthy”…), one thing I noted when I was in college and studying obesity in the medical library (no, I’m not a doctor, but I did go to their library when I needed a break from engineering): Most, if not all, “research” regarding obesity was paid for by the likes of Weight Watchers, Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS), and other purveyors of weight loss remedies. (I was in engineering school circa 1985)

I’m hearing a “Silence of the Lambs” dialogue here. Anyone for fava beans?

And yes, I’m well aware that, while conflict of interest does not itself invalidate the “research,” nevertheless, the conflict of interest did exist and, in my humble opinion, at least cast a shadow upon the results.

‘Twas ever thus. Sugar is safe research paid for by sugar companies and those who use sugar. Tobacco is safe paid for by tobacco companies (who now make a fortune exporting it to the third world. Somewhere in the world there is research going on to “prove” the exact opposite of any known “fact”. Just today, they’ve revised their estimate of human presence on earth, based on skulls found. Now they’re saying much much more than 250K years. But someone will no doubt prove them wrong!

Yes, more like 300,000 years though some out there say as long as 500,000 years as ostensibly human. Not counting Cremo’s silliness of hundreds of millions of years old humans where they could not have been unless someone is time traveling and died back there. Or they are all hoaxes and misreadings of more normal fossils.
