We have a bunch of so-so canyons in central PA. The closest one? Spring Creek Canyon, which is only interesting because it was closed to the public for decades when it was part of the local prison lands. Not sure what the prisoners did down there. Fish for trout?

Last year, the went to the Okay Smokey Mountains. Next year, it’s Medium Sur.

Pictures of the Grand Canyon are good enough for me. I’m afraid of heights, but it would be nice to see to see how deep and wide it really is.
