One of Kish’s fellow echo-locators was Ben Underwood (1992-2009).; you can find a documentary about the lad on YouTube. I’m not sure I’d wanna drink a hot drink with a coal therein.

Almost is not the only six letter word in alphabetical order. Biopsy and chintz also have that title

As well as Almost and Biopsy and Chintz others words that have all their letters in alphabetical order are are Abhors Begins and Chimps. Also there are two seven letter words Billowy and Beefily (meaning in a beefy manner). There is also an eight letter word Aegilops which is a type of grass genus.

Apparently the use of echolocation isn’t that uncommon among blind people.

What common English word has all the vowels (including ‘y’) in alphabetical order? I know of one for sure. I believe there might be two.

Why did “written out” have to be included? It should be true even if it’s typed out, or spelled out, no? ☺
