One of the early rotary mowers was a Whiz Mow, made in Hamilton or Warsaw, Illinois. Part of the front guard was held on with three wing-nuts which could be removed to expose the blade. Probably not OHSA approved now, but one could rev it up and walk right through a patch of horseweeds!

That’s the only way you’ll find your baseball. Cut the whole yard. I had to when I was his age.

When Sluggo finds his baseball, he probably won’t want it.

I recently found a baseball with a lawn mower. It wasn’t pretty.

Oh, the things I’ve found with my mower. I have dogs, ya see. I’ll just leave that there.

If he finds it with the mower, he won’t have a baseball anymore.

Nancy should find the ball and hide it until Sluggo finishes the entire lawn.
