Both yesterday’s and today’s strips have the same date on them, November 8, 1966. But the date stamps on the panels are July 28 and July 29. I think GoComics slipped up somewhere.
Weirdly, the “Random Acts of Nancy” panel presented yesterday, July 28, made me think of Devil’s Tower, via a scene in “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” And today, the structure on the right of the final panel, while it might merely be depicting a cliff, strongly resembles the structure of Devil’s Tower.

Yesterday’s and today’s strips are from 1966. Was there more racial insensitivity in the strips for July, 1950?

Also, I thought this might have been a set up for the old gag about the library being the tallest building because it has the most stories. Heh.
