Your Mom would have been upset if you had brought the dinosaurs back with you and they had trampled up her garden.

Mom is happy that Calvin didn’t get a chance to go to the future at all.

If they brought back Hobbes’ ancestor, she would be plenty upset.

I think that cardboard box is only marginally better than a delorean; though Calvin should still check the box walls for cocane

Cal hasn’t quite got the difference between fantasy and reality. It’s a hard nut to crack. It’s why kids get so terrified of their nightmares. Or the monsters under the bed.

Mom is one cool cookie, She’d just flush the little frogs down the toilet and say nothing. Then she’d serve creamed spinach at dinner and ask Calvin if he could guess what it was made from.

I think Mom was just happy for the break regardless of where he went!

It’s too bad Calvin didn’t think to bring back a dinosaur egg, Mom would have real been impressed.

I don’t blame her. I would be a tad nonplussed had I gone to plunk my derriere on the pot and found amphibians looking up at me.

It’s simple – she’s Old School.She’s cool with Jurassic Period, but Carboniferous Period really freaks her out.

Frogs in the toilet is one thing. But what about the noodle incident?

Mom is just use to it. Remember we don’t see every day here. She does. Calvin does this every day if not many times a day.

All of these things that Calvin has done will be laughed about in years to come.
