If he truly wants to win re-election, he needs to deeply offend about 40% of the electorate and get the other 60% to vote for him. He needs that kind of margin in case the supreme court gets involved again… a couple percentage points don’t cut the mustard with that group.

alanrooks: Are you kidding? He passed the most watered down and worst possible health bill possible. It’s done nothing to lower rates or check the worst abuses in the system, but made not buying over-priced health insurance a crime.
On that one he gave the Republicans everything they wanted up front, then negotiated down from there to an even worse position.
I agree that Obamacare is the worst thing that could have happened. So glad that AZ is opposing it ;-) The last politician who really made sense to me was Goldwater in his first run for president. Now we here in AZ get stuck with a phoney like McCain - again!! I only voted for GWB to get rid of him! So sorry Hayworth did not win primary!
