If this was Dick Tracy, Rover would indeed turn up asphyxiated. Which begs the question - why isn’t this strip more like Dick Tracy?

(And I call ‘shenanigans’ on anyone from Scancarelli’s Gasoline Alley knowing the word “asphyxiated”, much less using it in a sentence.)
