Early man was disliked because he kept waking up late man.

Early Woman was being constantly being harrased by Peking Man.

Early man had a hard life. Eventually, people quit inviting him to parties at all.

“Alas, poor Yorik! I knew him, Brewster”. No, really, I knew him. We were in the same bowling league!

Neanderthals had a larger brain capacity than we have, in general, now.

And here I would’ve thought it would change your view of the fossilization process.
