if it were a cheque, you’d still have trouble reading the grandparents’ cursive (maybe even how they write out the digits)
My 20 year old grandson who is in college can’t write in cursive but sure likes the money.
Some day, we Pluggers will use cursive as a secret code.
The four people ahead of me have put ‘it all in a nutshell’ ! ! ! !
I was using cursive at age eight but I never had a birthday card with that much money in it!
I can write cursive, but no one including me, can read it. Effective tremor makes life far more difficult than it seems it would.
one of my g-ma’s lived in CA (we were in RI) and I always waited for her envelopes….today’s my birthday….she remembered … :)
So… Kids are taught to print, just so they can recognize keys on their keyboards? :O
