Free speech means you get to say your mind without fear of prosecution by your government (within reason of course). It doesn’t mean anyone has to listen to it.

The First Amendment only applies to government suppression of free speech, not individuals or businesses.

    Time for my favorite quote:

    Exactly @scratchy18!

One can respond in kind as in voice not deed. The haters want to be able to hold their disgusting views without others commenting disparagingly on them. That is the freedom they want back. Everyone must get their say or it isn’t free for all.

You are free to speak, the consequences are not always free.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, has the right to free speech. If you don’t agree with what they have to say, walk away. Our Universities are choosing to limit free speech because they don’t want the cost of controlling the radicals that will riot when someone they disagree with speaks. If this continues you may as well repeal Amendment #1.
