Typical web page designer. Knows nothing about the business but will use every tool in the arsenal to ensure it doesn’t provide the correct content, doesn’t work as it should, and then charge an arm and a leg to fix their screw ups….
All the focus on the tools and none on what it’s supposed to do… one of the reasons I got out of the coding game ages ago. The only programming I’ve done in years is system level scripts (BSD/UNIX/Linux) to automate stuff at the command line or for background processing.
I still maintain a few websites but only as long as they don’t want bells and whistles. I don’t do javascript or any of the other fancy crap. I can, and I have, but I prefer not too… Keep It Simple! I do use CSS, when it makes sense, but that’s only for formatting, not for coding, so I’m ok with that.

Very, very confusing, if there’s nothing to apply that coding to yet.

The last panel reminds me of Miles Davis a bit.

This already feels like it can go so wrong in so many ways. I hope this is a week-long story-arc!

This is what websites “designed” by IT folks are like.

He doesn’t realize his teacher means “best design” as in what the page looks like.

I think we have the grown up Jason working for us now… just as geeky and over-complicates everything to the point nothing ever gets done
