Lucky for you, Chesney, that Lily did not come in during your tirade.

I knew that too. Chesney surely learned his lesson last time Lily beat him to a pulp.

It’s raining in Everett!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was laying in bed reading and I heard a strange sound like clicking. Turned on my back deck light and it’s wet! I haven’t heard that sound in ages. I wish it would rain all day everyday for a week. Sorry, native Washingtonian here. Miss my grey skies and green grass.

Let sleeping cats lie?

My cat, Tabby, punked me Saturday evening. When I came into the kitchen to do the dishes I found him sitting on the counter in front of his food dish staring into it. He turned and gave me “the look” because you could see the bottom of the dish through the cat food. He loves the new duck protein-based food! It is Hill’s Prescription Diet d/d for skin/food sensitivities and it seems to appeal to him. Thanks to all for yesterday’s advice. Here’s a picture of him I think he may have been waiting ten minutes for me!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We’re home and I’m back. I missed all of you while we were away, I could see the strip, but not the comments. Paul and his brother worked on the bunkhouse, roof is on, framing and outside are complete, deck is built. Now for the shingles and the siding, windows and interior work. Mother-in-law is hoping all work can be done by Thanksgiving, but we are not holding our breath. Oh, yeah, happy Bunday, Graham Crackers! Didja miss me?
