Yeah, that sounds about right. You see it in the Dems to some extent as well. Everyone’s too busy to look past the cheap one-liners, easy answers, and carefully crafted slick media personae. The problem is what they’re all to busy doing is sitting on their derrieres watching TV.
Then the Repubs have to deliver on what got the Dems where they are today.
And you’re not going to fix the economy and solve the unemployment problem on more of the tax-cuts for the rich, outsourcing, and de-regulation that got us into this mess in the first place.
Boehner has had NO suggestions that I can recall about how to fix things other than the tired old line of tax cuts and health care repeal(glossing over the fact that a large portion of the stimulus was tax cuts—how’d THAT turn out?). These “ideas” were not well-received
Here’s another decent cartoon that spells out where we are…
With the Repubs in control, it will be time for Whitewater, The Sequel. Millions in squandered cash for another witch hunt. Maybe they’ll bring in O’Donnell - it takes one to know one.
“Because the evil, racist, homophobes have made the word liberal into a bad name.”
Wow… so Tea Partiers and Evangelicals are Liberal… I never knew! (P.S. I’m not the one who made the survey that said a large percentage of Tea partiers say blacks are lazy).
No no no… they don’t advertise they’re liberal because people have been duped into thinking there’s a bunch of “socialism” or “Communism” or “Marxism” coming from “liberals.” Socialism for the Rich is different… but we call this “Trickle down” and it’s perfectly acceptable Conservative economics.
We should be conserving what we’ve got. A large healthy middle class and opportunity for small independent business instead of a classless structure of mega rich and mega poor. The deregulation seems to be aimed at the folks in the middle, making them scapegoats for conspiracy theorists that sound like they read books printed in the 20’s and 30’s.

Your cartoon would work if people actually knew who Boehner is??? Try again with someone people know.

I don’t know that Boehner is that particularly popular that you could call him a leader of sheep. The cartoon doesn’t strike the right note.

You guys couldn’t get enough of that…and still can’t ( ‘limpocrats’ ‘Obamaslamics’. )
But the minute someone respond in kind….
