This is really weird. As I read this I am watching a morning programme where they had a guest on; a young lady who had a severe reaction to a nuts. She went to a restaurant in Hungary and had a meal of chicken and rice and even being reassured that none of her meal or its ingredients had been anywhere nuts, she went into anaphylactic shock and was dead for 6 minutes and as a result and is now severely brain damaged for the rest of her life despite her receiving 2 epi pens at the restaurant. She was s in a coma for 6 weeks and is now brain damaged and wheelchair bound for the rest of her life. Worst thing about it was she only had 1 mouthful of that fateful meal. The whole thing was brought about when the presenters were doing a survey as to whether or not nuts should be allowed on planes after a toddler went into anaphylactic shock on a plane when someone ate a bag of peanuts near him. He was OK as his parents had an epi pen to help him but it makes you think. I know I’ll never eat nuts in a crowded place again. I would hate to be responsible for anyone becoming ill.
