I know I’ll probably be trolled for this, but I have great news: Paul and I are the grandfather and step-grandmother of a beautiful baby girl born early this morning. On the downside, still no TV. Back on the plus side, good morning Graham Crackers!
To: DAMAGE2007: I could simply post go to Facebook’s Ten Cats Friends from CoComics page etc. to find cat pictures but more than half of the people that view these pictures are not members of Facebook and cannot do this, but they can follow the links I post.
You sound like you work for Gocomics. Interesting. If they had a problem with what I was doing, they have my email address and would have contacted me or banished me like they did to dogsniff.
If the people I respect want me to stop or if Gocomics tells me to stop posting picture links, I will gladly. But I won’t stop just because someone who never posted a comment here before a few weeks ago is unhappy with it! As someone else put it, go somewhere else if our comments offend you.
(Single “On-Topic” image link post pointing towards an image held on an external image hosting site for all those interested to follow if they wish to do so. Trolls can ignore the comment and/or link if they wish, or join in the “on-Topic” posting if they feel so inclined. It’s a big free world (so I’m told), so there’s enough room for all opinions without getting worked up to post vitriolic comments to/about regular posters on any forum/comments section of any website. If you don’t like what you read in the comments section of a particular comic/website, don’t read the comments of that comic/website. There are a lot of comment sections I don’t read anymore, life’s too short to raise your blood pressure over something as inconsequential as the opinion of an anonymous person you’ll never meet typing on a keyboard in front of a screen).

It’s late, not sure if any of the “regulars” will see this, but please don’t get sucked into responding directly to the happy trolls who have decided to pay a visit – it’s what they want, to stir up trouble, and to bring in as much negativity as they can. I know it’s difficult to ignore them, oh, how I know, but to keep our sanity I think we must. Having our positive, cat/fun pictures/life updates-themed comments section without all the vitriol and negativity is precisely why this (Ten Cats comics) is literally the ONLY place on the ENTIRE internet that I can and do read the comments section anymore. I know those of you who have become part of this Ten Cats/Graham Harrop community feel the same about this comments section. Anyone else is free to move on.
