”Puerto Rican comedian and entrepreneur Silverio Pérez is credited with coining the term chupacabras soon after the first incidents were reported in the press.”
”Chupacabras can be translated as “goat-sucker.” It is known as both chupacabras and chupacabra throughout the Americas, with the former being the original word, and the latter a regularization of it. The name in Spanish can be preceded by singular masculine article (el chupacabras), or the plural masculine article (los chupacabras).”
Re: the elastrator, when I was in high school in Rattan, Oklahoma, the guys in Future Farmers of America went out one time and helped do some castrating of calves. Not all were enthusiastic about it (the guys..none of the calves were enthusiastic at all).
I think DNA tests show the Chupacabras is a relative of the coyote or dog.
Dead ones have been found but I don’t know if anyone has seen a live one.
Being out in the sun changes the body a bit.
BTW, today the blog is blocked in a medical bulding in Princeton NJ and I could not back into Frog Applause from Fusco’s, what’s with this? There are strange things in this town but how’s that for devotion?
