Lake Natron is not as toxic as Ripley’s wants you to believe… Google it! While it has a high PH and is extremely hard water, there are plenty of animals thriving in and around the lake. The photos that you will find are essentially staged by a photographer to take dead bodies found washed up on shore and made to look alive again. The lake is actually a breeding ground for a species of lesser flamingo. If the lake were really that toxic, how could an entire species continue to breed there, year after year.

Something like the waters at Miami Beach….Ever see the over over ripe old bags trying to look young and cool while walking around in clothes that are a joke, while they are too rapidly turning to stone also?

What did the family of KJumar thought Kumar died of? Also, who wouldn’t want a petrified carcass in their yard curtesy of a Australian Island lake?

That boy’s story is just like an episode of The Twilight Zone.

How is it a “lake of death” if it turns carcasses (dead bodies) to stone?
