It appears that these things come upon Owen very quickly, and frequently by surprise. It’s little wonder, then, that little TERI, (get it? – the Terrier!), prefers to sit with Mommy Olivette in matching bonnets.

I see the Mme Deuxcoleur original above Olivette’s head, but what is that behind Owen’s foot? Not the outdated Uncle Uncolor, I hope!

As bedtime approaches, I am finishing the celebration of my birthday. True, I had to clear garbage out of a rental property, but I got to take the afternoon off with some good nap time. Had dinner at a Turkish café with my wife and adult daughter, then came home for cake and prezzies! My daughter gave me a Mad Magazine collection. My wife gave me the book, “Keeping Score on Ballard Street.” AND she gave me an autographed copy of “Sound Sleeping in the Neighborhood” from Jerry’s pre-Ballard Days. The autograph, which includes a self sketch, is unfortunately inscribed “Best Wishes Jody.” Oh Well. Best wishes Jody from me as well. On brief perusal it appears that the women did not have a reliable purveyor of polka dot fabrics in those pre-Ballard days.

Getaway? It looks like Olivette arranged a put-away.

One second, Owen is enjoying the funnies, and then …

I’m feeling a little like Owen tonight…

and I don’t even have a terrier to blame.

 

102°F at 4pm today, doing stuff outdoors …

Internet going in and out tonight.

You know, I’m just realizing that those “caps” look kinda like one boob bras.
