Wait… there’s a report on how the avocado plant is doing, but no report on Mr. Danders?

    This is offensive!

And so we’ve come to the end of our story. My local paper didn’t start running Cul de Sac until early 2012, and at first I didn’t understand why it suddenly disappeared roughly half a year later. RIP Richard Thompson 10/8/57 – 7/27/16. My very favorite comic strip since Calvin and Hobbes. Think I’ll read it again.

I’ll argue that just for the sake of arguing.

The lack of marshmallows definitely shapes Alice’s day.

Dill is probably afraid of Alice’s reprisals.

Poor Dill. His life is defined by nightmares: his inability to rescue every lost shopping cart, his attempt to avoid becoming trebuchet fodder for his brothers, his frantic search to find just the right objects to fit through the Otterloop’s letter slot, and Alice – his unfathomable love of Alice.

Even somewhat negative attention is better than no attention at all. Dill is going to be a “whatever you say” guy, especially to Alice.

I think it is dangerous for Miss Bliss to turn Alice loose on the Morning Announcements. She will surely work in her personal peeves!

And then where will the pre-schoolers be, if not in her thrall?!
