It always struck me as fiscally foolish, for owners to risk their star players, in a meaningless preseason game. How many injuries – many season ending before it started – does it take to make the NFL owners realize they’re flushing their player investments away ?
Well, more players get hurt in practice than in the exhibition (“pre-season”) games. Unfortunately, it just comes with the territory. As a season ticket holder for many years, I really hate paying for those “games” but I understand their usefulness to the teams as a tool for player evaluation.

If OBJ continues his immature antics, he’ll become trade bait soon enough.

Hardly worth caring about.
