I respectfully disagree, ladyfingers. There’s a lot of bad tuna fish out there. I make mine with apples, hard boiled egg, onion, and pickle relish. Yum. And having it cut at all makes you a wimp.

Wonder what Paige thought of her rectangular tuna sandwich?

I thought he was going to complain about Paige’s one, diagionally cut tuna sandwich compared to his twelve rectangle-cut tuna sandwiches.

By the way, Hobbes would love that lunch. Hmmmm, tuna.

Imanartisthoney, I’m sorry but I can’t make any sense of your post. It’s one long run-on sentence although it appears to be conveying multiple thoughts. Punctuation really helps in communication.

Time to make your own lunch, Peter.

If you don’t like tuna fish try tuna dog or tuna pig.

    Here, I’ve edited Imanartisthoney’s post:

“I’m the opposite. I think you get a better crust to filling ratio when they are cut on the diagonal. But I’ve had staff all my life and these people are paid to bow to my every whim. If I tried it on either of my dad’s (staff?), I’d get the same reaction.”

    Better?

I’ve never had staff, but I also prefer sandwiches cut on the diagonal too.

I thought he was going to complain that there was only ONE sandwich. Teenage boys tend to eat multiple sandwiches at a time!

I post the previous message as a tongue-in-cheek exercise to make a point.

We got your point, musicnut. We have a lot of posters here with differing facility with the English language. I prefer to keep my own counsel and puzzle those posts out as best I can – something about casting the first stone…

Yes, over time you can discern posters for which English is a second language and I salute them for learning another language. It takes time and effort to become multilingual. On the other hand, I get tired of puzzling through posts from someone that appears to not want to take the time, the extra few seconds, to add capital letters and punctuation.

By the way, my previous post is: Rmom, your edited version does indeed make more sense than the original post. I noted that you had to add words and make an assumption, as well as add punctuation, in order for the post to make any real sense. Punctuation and capital letters greatly improve communication.

    Enough said.

I don’t know how the two lunches could get mixed up – wouldn’t Peter’s lunch fill a garbage bag?
