Doesnât so much mean youâre a Plugger as it does that you DRIVE a Plugger! (I guess the implication here, though, is that Pluggers drive Pluggers âŠ)
Get it fixed or get off the road. And if itâs not the car, see a doctor or turn in your license. Slow drivers cause dangerous situations as much as speeders. If you canât drive within 10% of the speed limit, you are losing you ability to function safely. Self-driving cars will greatly help with the situation of incompetent drivers. The sooner they are in general use, the better.
I always drive the speed limit, but there are bozos out there who must go over it by 5-15 mph. I also hate stop sign & red light runners, tailgaters, & drivers who think they own the road. Iâm all game for going back to horses & wagons & even horse drawn trolleys.
For grainpaw and cbrsara; I agree and yet disagree in the fact that your âcuresâ for âUs Experiencedâ types are diametrically opposed. I remember the horse and wagon days and the work needed to clean the roads and itâs stink was horrendous. Iâve also wondered how young black speeders were able to weave BMWâs and Cadillacs back and forth lane-changing rush-hours with broken driver windows while on my way to/from work and how the hell GPS-driven autocraft could ever navigate such unexpected events.. Even today on the way back from Publix, some damfool at 70mph in a 35mph zone thought that a red-traffic light was only âcautionâ and now Iâm âa witnessâ..All I wanted was some cold beer after all this power lossâŠ
yup, plenty of âpluggersâ (read, âmental slowpokesâ) who no longer belong behind the wheel of a car these days with parades of angry motorists behind themâŠ

On the topic of tailgaters â A more descriptive term I prefer is âBumper Sniffersâ.
