Good morning Bill and all the fans at home. That walk could be their end. Seems they have no clue what Domain plans for both of them. Phit-phit, your dead.
We were talking about movie actors yesterday. Well, this morning I awoke to a pleasant surprise.
About 20 years ago I appeared in the Russian film, Brother 2. It is a Russian gangster film that takes place in America. I played a large role of the hero’s American friend—more of a sidekick. (I spoke English in the movie even though all others spoke Russian).
During the filming of his next movie, the young star along with all of the crew (over 100 people) were killed when an avalanche covered them over. Much like James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause, the young star, Sergey Bodrov, Jr., and his last film, Brother 2, became cult hits and everyone in the movie became big stars in Russia including me. (I am even on video games over there and am so popular that I have had to restrict Facebook friend requests from Russian fans).
This is the 15th anniversary of Sergey’s death and I was interviewed by Russian TV for the event. A transcript (heavily condensed) appears today on the Russian website Tvzvezda.ru. It is in Cyrillic Russian, so unless you know the language (I don’t), it is impossible to read. But it was a nice thing to wake up to. I ran it through Google translate to see how accurate the translation was. Although they use Russian phrasing, it seems pretty accurate.
Hmmm. Sprocket seems genuinely happy to see Silver home and safe, but curiously dour about hearing how the scam went down. I suspect her concern is with a domestic future and not with their scammer-history. Maybe she’s getting a glimmer that It Ain’t Over ’til the Fat Lady Sings, too. Silver is little too quick to congratulate himself. And if Public Domain has a hit planned, going for a walk outside would certainly not be a good idea….

Wait till Sprocket learn how much they got from Bea Thorndike and how much was their share…. I think she will kill Silver!

There’s been a definite air of melancholia running throughout all of their scenes.

There’s more Dick Tracy in “Gasoline Alley” then there is in “Dick Tracy” nowadays! ;-)

Check Sprocket’s expression – she can’t wait. (We need an emoji for sarcasm…)

Did he get paid yet? He needs to use some of the money to buy a new pair of shades, since the frames of his current pair are coming apart in panel 2.
