Personally, I’m more concerned about native-born American with the right to vote and zero understanding of the Constitution being able to elect unprincipled, but popular candidates to represent special or fringe interests instead of “we the people”.
Your average elected official has no medical training, but makes decisions on your health care; has no training in economics, but decides the budget; is totally ignorant of science, yet votes on issues about the environment or space exploration; cannot pass a citizenship test, but makes policy on immigration; has never served in the military but decides national security issues.
Ultracrepidarianism: the act of giving advice on a topic about which one knows nothing about.
Much like Pennywise, the scary clowns in Washington are shapeshifting and malevolent with no solid identity. They disguise themselves as clowns (take a look at the president) or morph into any other being or thing they please, generally based on issues to lure citizens into voting for them. Or simply appear to them as their very worst fears and nightmares. They prefer the easily manipulated, they are capable of working for every one of us, but instead focus on their own personal gains and doing favors for the rich. They prefer a scared constituency because according to Congress, frightened flesh tastes better.
