I don’t watch horror movies as I find the news horrible enough. I understand this one made and F rating, whatever that is. I think the last horror movie I watched was called “The Blob” with Steve McQueen. That’s telling my age. I only watched that because I had a crush on Steve McQueen. I’m not much into chick flicks either. I like action movies like The Fast and Furious franchise.
Actually, the “mother!” in the movie IS Mother Nature (allegorically), and (spoiler alert) not only does she destroy mankind through natural cataclysm, it’s HUMAN ACTION that pushes her beyond the breaking point.

And Star Trek and Star Wars and Wonder Woman. Any good movie where the bad guys get slammed.

In that case Jennifer Lawrence would just ignore the warning signs until she was completely underwater.

Mother nature is just capable of giving humans some payback for all the damage we’ve done to she and hers.

Earth is objective. Not a human “bone” in its “body.” We anthropomorphize non-human things.
