I think Dee Dee is just trolling for responses here.

Dee Dee is going to far on this, at this point its time for Nate to back with some gossip saying that Dee Dee likes Artur or something. At least that would give her a sample of her own medicine, but the crowd is already on Dee Dee’s side and Nate doesn’t have any evidence to back up his gossip.

Oh, thank goodness. If Nate liked Gina, I would’ve freaked out.

…but as far as I can see, it might be all over for Nate. I predict that on Monday’s strip, the rumor is going to be spread about his relationship with Gina.

Nate is out of his league on this.

I think that DeeDee is only doing this for the sake of the crowd. She KNOWS that he doesnt like her, but she is kind of being a jerk by telling everyone he does.

Hmm, if you think about it, everyone has a relationship with everyone else. Even if you are strangers and never met, you still have the relationship together of never meeting.

This is horrible. Dee Dee should have done this. This has to be the most embarrassing comic in Big Nate history.

This also has to be the worse story in Big Nate history. This is even worse than when Trudy broke up with Nate.

Ok, Nate In one of the strips you said aloha to Gina and had that lovestruck face there that’s one sign that you like her and plus Dee Dee is a good source of gossips so yeah, man

The first panel is very similar to my first (and second) panels from yesterday.

Nate messed up there by uttering the word “relationship”. That was just what Dee Dee needed to convince everyone that Nate does have a relationship with Gina (whether it is one of love or hate is uncertain though “there is a thin like between love and hate” as Francis and Teddy are keen to remind Nate).

I think that Dee Dee couldn’t come up with any gossip either so she made this up because she knew there was no way to prove it.

I actually really like Dee Dee. She was my favorite character… And I don’t wanna have to switch favorite characters…
