We had a Hollywood sunset tonight. Rosy sky, blue streaky clouds, and the Olympic mountains all blue as well. AND a tiny crescent moon. The firs had to sub for the saguaros, but otherwise it was Tombstone, Baby.
Craig continues to slowly improve, all doctor visits are positive even though his oncologist told us yesterday that his cancer was so complicated that they would not have operated had he not been so young (65!) and otherwise healthy. Pain meds had to be increased so he is still very fatigued and sometimes depressed but otherwise healing well after such a major surgery. We have a trip planned to the mountains of the southern desert to meet up with friends in about 10 days. And SNOW in the Sierra yesterday temporarily closed all the passes on the last day of summer! What a send off!!
Happy TGIF, Graham Crackers! Yum Yum continues to bring home various insectoid wildlife. Yesterday morning, she brought home a moth. Paul put the moth outside, she brought it back in. This repeated several times, until I reminded Paul that he is supposed to praise her and call her a mighty huntress, give her treats, and THEN put the moth out.
I am have room to post five of the thirteen pictures that I uploaded to Photobucket today and emailed to my growing group of email recipients. You should be able to see the other eight pictures on Photobucket by clicking on the < or > symbols on the edges of the pictures (I think).
If he goes ‘all the way’ with his act (reminds me of Sanford and Son) then the free obits in the Pitt News will be available. Little (adorable) show-off.

2. A double dose of catitude post: never ask your cats what they think about the new family dog. (Unless you can handle the answer.)

I think Chesney missed his calling. He could give a few actors a run for their money.
