Well, this confirms it. Stantis is illiterate. Because she takes a lotta blame in the book and has throughout her media interviews. But like all conservatives, alt-facts prevail.
“I go back over my shortcomings and the mistakes we made. I take responsibility for all of them. You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want—but I was the candidate. It was my campaign. Those were my decisions.”
Mr. Stantis, either you didn’t read the book, or you are lying.
Let’s be honest here and acknowledge that facts aren’t something that Stantis is terribly concerned about. His concerns are two-fold; being the token conservative comic in most newspapers and making sure he pleased his Conservative readers (often simply by irritating non-Conservatives).
As has been noted many a time and many a place, Truth has a Liberal bias, so if Stantis trafficked in truth he’d be saying what the rest of the political comics say and he’d lose his selling points. Since he’s not well schooled in either ironic humor nor in artistic insights, he’d quickly lose papers and possibly his chance to be published at all. Therefore, one should never expect truth, accuracy or insight from Stantis, just the usual servings of right wing rhetoric. He doesn’t want to lose his job.

@Alexander Edward So his neighborly style of disinformation should just be ignored?
NO! That helped give us Trump in the first place.
BSABSVR has already done too much damage to the U.S.
And we still don’t know how bad Puerto Rico is going to be.

Stantis should just rename his strip Scott’s Strawman Parade, to save time.

Comey! Russia! Fox “news”! Basket of deplorables! Misogeny! Bibles and guns! Wikileaks!
None of those things actually happened, right?
.
And Benghazi — that was just a search for The Truth, and not continual hearings done in order to damage Hillary, right?
And the emails! Anyone in government that uses private emails should be locked up, right Scott?
BTW Scott, any idea why General Flynn was fired?
