Very interesting. I’m surprised at the quantity of material from Vesta.

So – Vesta was hit by Arizona and is still mad at Earth?

Vesta is the last surviving protoplanet – the chunks of planetary ‘clay’ that once filled the solar system. Eventually all of them mashed together to form inner planets and moons of the gas giant. or expelled into distant Oort cloud exile. Only Vesta remains.

Where was Arpaio when all of this happened? He’d’a stopped it and sent it back to where it came from!

Oddly, I’m reading a book called 2312, which has a story line of someone destroying planetary and asteroid habitations by launching meteor swarms at them years earlier.

How can this protoplanet have a diameter of ~330 miles and an impact crater ~300 miles wide?

Mr. Rickard, could you please superimpose Vesta over Washington, D.C? Just thinking about it makes me feel a little better.

My internet was out yesterday. Is it too late to comment on this strip? I have a vesta’d interest.
