When is Andy himself really ever funny?
Sure and then there’s the point Jack that it would be far too close to a job,and we ALL know how Andy feel’s about work? For further info on that sort of phenomenon look up the Many loves of Dobie Gillis’s best friend Maynard G. Krebs.
Andy does his best comedy when he arrives home at 3 in the morning and Flo is waiting at the front door.
How is he going to get home…?
He could do his imitation of Foster Brooks
Andy can always stay on his feet when he has a bar to hang on to Cappers!
Andy might be better suited to lie down in the gutter comedy.
The problem with a lot of stand up comedians is that verbal humor is all they know. Slapstick and sight gags are alien to them. A real shame.
