Well, you would think so, x_Tech….

But actually, yours makes a little more sense (at least, in terms of today’s strip.)

Tony’s question, though, is

“What if?”

Um, Tony, you mean…. what if you asked something about what Peter or Stan said?

That would be cool.

Orrrr…. what if Stan were actually asking Peter if he wanted to talk about it…. for real?

That would be a miracle!

Or even…. what if you (i.e. me, Susan) won the lottery?

I’d be answering this question just as I always do, on my laptop…

but maybe in Paris.

What if??? The Sky fell and you had an epiphany!!!

Maybe Tony is asking, " What if Elliot hadn’t taken Peter’s last twenty yesterday?" .

Or, " What if Stan had his usual cup of coffee, would he want Peter to talk about it?"

What if what?

What if Tony asked a question and nobody responded….

Stan just wanted a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. They both need coffee!
