If the wolves think they have a valid beef, they’d be dotty to not do as she says. After all, there’s ample evidence that Heather did kill one of their own, so they can’t just kick back and relax.
“The Examiner’s coverage is bound to be biased! Not to counter it would be negligent.”
And there went any pretext of even-handed journalism. When your mission becomes “countering” someone you disagree with, you cease being a reporter and become a commentator instead. Once upon a time, there was a difference.
Dotty is being played by the wolves. We still do not know who is really stirring up the conflict in Endtown. The bones were planted as much as the food shortage stories were. I don’t think it is the wolves, they are simply taking advantage of Dotty and the situation.
Are they wolves or dogs? There are other canine species in Endtown, and Doc has already brought up the point that wolves aren’t the only ones. If they are dogs trying to cast a spotlight on the wolves to hide their own clandestine actions…. this is really getting interesting.

I suppose, with pro-wolf and anti-wolf coverage, that the two-party political system will form up around those viewpoints.

Aftermath was the first really good Rolling Stones album.
I sometimes wonder if Lady Jane referred to Jane Seymour and Anne Boleyn.
Rick Wakeman later had an excellent study of The Six Wives Of Henry VIII .

Dottie can’t report on the trial, but I don’t think anything’s stopping her from being interviewed about it by other reporters.
