Check the lost-and-found at school. I’m an election judge with our polling place in a school gym. We pass the lost-and-found table on our way to the teacher’s washrooms for breaks and it’s always heaped up – coats, gloves, hats and lunchboxes.
I would think that it’s cheaper for a parent to drive by and check before buying a replacement…. 8^(

Yeah, my kids lost more umbrellas and jackets. I started buying them from resale shops.
