    My first thought also, what a great car! Looks like a 57 Ford station wagon to me. Spent its later years as a surfer’s Woody in Hawthorne.

    It sure looks like a ‘57 Ford wagon to me too. ’Pop’ had a 4-door ‘56 Ford which was a shorter body style. They went ’big’ in ’57. Image # 4 of the slide show on this link will look familiar!
