Probably need to go with the triangle. It’s bit less percussive.

His arms are so short, I doubt he could even bring the cymbals together in front of himself!

OK, so wait- he’s practicing cymbals by himself. With sheet music. He can only do ONE note. And if there’s no accompaniment, then how does he know when to do it?

Short arms, plays cymbals, doesn’t wear pants…..next time it won’t be his nose.
